careerXact.com is primarily a career assessment and job application site. This information includes the results of your careerXact Online Assessment, employment history, past education, skills, certifications and contact information and it is stored in our central server database behind a hardware firewall at the careerXact.com server. The psychometric assessment involves 146 questions which compare you against jobs in the database, based on your unique personality and interests and other job-related criteria. The career reports you receive as part of the careerXact application process are yours alone and completely confidential. You will be in control of who has access to these career reports. Participating careerXact employers may access your raw assessment scoresand the interpretation of those raw assessment scores to create their own reports, but not your personal career reports, when they require more information on you in order to consider you for a job opportunity. When you apply directly to an employer from the employer's web site, employer's email or other means of employer contact, you are consenting to allow that employer the ability to generate their own hiring reports, using your raw assessment scores. Employers will use this information during the hiring process to make more accurate hiring decisions, based on how you match their target employee assessment score profile.
